Lockdown 2.0: PM’s Appeal of 7 Points | BITT Polytechnic College

PM’s Appeal of 7 points: Shri Narendra Modi addressed the nation at 10 a.m on the 14th of April regarding the extension of the 21-day lockdown. As per his statement, India already decided self-isolation to be maintained by people for which the citizens are far safe from the people of different countries whose death rate due to COVID-19 is lying in lakhs.

However, this cannot be ignored that the cases of coronavirus are low here but is gradually rising day by day.

As per the survey until the 14th of April, the number of cases in India are as follow:

  • Active Cases- 9272
  • Cured/Discharged/Migrated- 1190
  • Death Cases- 353

Observing this typical scenario, the Prime Minister decided to extend the lockdown till the 3rd of May to halt the thump of coronavirus in the nation.

Lockdown 2.0 and 7 Appeals

At this critical and delicate situation of pandemic ruling around the cities, states and union territories, BITT Polytechnic College too will remain closed till further notice. Nevertheless, the students of this Polytechnic College in Ranchi are being trained by their teachers with online classes at their homes through digital media.

With the extension of Lockdown to Lockdown 2.0 till the 3rd of May, The PM of India has also appealed 7 points towards the nation to be followed in the quarantine period. Therefore, BITT Polytechnic College advocated all its students, their parents, employees and all the individuals of India to follow those 7 appeals listed below.

1. Take proper care of the elder citizens especially those who have a medical history.

2. Don’t break the rules of lockdown, maintain social distancing and cover your face with a mask. If you don’t have a mask, prepare it at home with easy steps.

3. Boost your immunity and take special care of your health. Follow the suggestion laid by the AYUSH Ministry.

4. Install Asrogya Setu App in your mobile to prevent the spreading of COVID-19.

5. Help the needy in your area. Also, feed food to the citizens who are facing poverty in their life.

6. Have an empathy toward your employees and don’t pull back their jobs

7. Pay a tribute of respect to the government officials and doctors, nurses, etc who have put their health at stake to protect the nation.
